Creative meeting dedicated to the memory of writer Sherkhan Murtaza

On February 23, 2023, Department of Geography and Ecology of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, in accordance with the approved calendar plan of educational events, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023, held a creative meeting on the theme «Akhikhattyn aldaspany», dedicated to the memory of the People`s writer of Kazakhstan Sherkhan Murtaza.

Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the prizes of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Kali Sarsenbay and Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, singer and composer Myrzakhan Akhmetov - students and associates of Sherkhan Murtaza were invited to the event.

The guests told about the fascinating social and creative activities of Sherkhan Murtaza for the benefit of prosperity and development of the country, and also answered the students` questions.

Singer-composer Myrzakhan Akhmetov performed the song «Sher-agha» dedicated to Sherkhan Murtaza. The students showed a small production based on the novel by Sherkhan Murtaza «Ai men Aisha».
