Educational event within the framework of the project «100 new textbooks»

On March 13, 2023, in accordance with the annual plan of the Department of «General and Applied Psychology» of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU, the 3rd-year, 2nd-group adviser of the specialty «6B03111 - Training of practical psychologists» Limasheva Lyazzat organized and conducted an educational and educational event with the participation of 1st-year and 3rd-year students. The purpose of this educational event was to familiarize students of the specialty «Psychology» with new textbooks in the direction of «Psychology». During the event, the works of the teaching staff of the Department of General and Applied Psychology were presented.

The scientific library of KazNPU named after Abai organized an exhibition at which textbooks of the new edition in the field of Psychology were presented. Within the framework of «Rukhani Zhangyru», a presentation of textbooks translated from foreign languages into Kazakh was presented. During this event, 1st-year students were trained with the work of the University`s electronic library website. The students shared their impressions about the new textbooks and the process of ordering the necessary books on the website of the electronic library. Having analyzed the textbook «History of Psychology», the authors of which are J.Turkpenuly and A.T.Akazhanova, students were involved in the deep history of psychological science in Kazakhstan, and their love and interest in their profession also increased.

The event was held as part of the national 100 New Textbooks project.
