Summing up of the results of the III National children`s competition of local history mathematical problems for junior schoolchildren

 

The Department of Primary Education has been holding a competition for primary school students for the third year in a row. Subject mathematical problems are accepted for this competition, which correspond to the program of the primary school mathematics course and contain local history material that highlights various aspects of the life of the native land.

 

The competition was held remotely in four age groups (students of grades 1-4) in Russian, English and Kazakh. 78 participants were accepted to participate in the competition. 55 participants represented the city of Almaty, the rest of them were from other cities and regions of Kazakhstan. The number of works for each class was distributed as follows: 17 works were presented in the first class, 10 in the second, 33 in the third as well as 17 in the fourth.

 

Participants competed in seven categories: "History of my land", "Architecture of my native land", "Geography of my land", "Sports success of my city", "Cultural life of my city", "Outstanding personalities of my small homeland", "Feat of my people during the Great Patriotic War". The largest number of works was presented in the nominations "Geography of my land" and "Architecture of my native land".

 

The competition jury consisted of experts in the field of primary education and experienced teachers. They were acting professor of the department of pre-school and primary education of KazNWTTU L.E.Ageyeva, primary schools teachers of Bilimkana-Almaty LLP O.I.Olefir, A.S.Kozlenko, A.E.Tsybulia, N.B.Shef, N.G.Brosalina, M. G. Alekseeva, E. S. Zharkova and E. S. Usova, acting professor of the Primary Education Department at KazNPU named after Abay L. A. Lebedeva, and teachers from School #185 in Almaty M. B. Sarmaeva and N. K. Ergesh.

 

The organizing committee of the competition consisted of four members: acting Professor of the Department of Primary Education A.Akpaeva, as well as 2nd year students of the specialty "Primary Education with ICT" M.Ponikarova, M.Popandopulo and R.Rais.

 

The jury team and the organizing committee of the competition are professional experts and specialists in the field of primary education, the competition was held at a high organizational and methodological level.
