Help in choosing a future profession

On March 11, 2023, the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography organised a meeting with graduates of the national centre for preparation for the Ukids unified test. Most of the students who came to the event chose science subjects as their field of study. The aim was to familiarise them with the learning process of the entire university and the institute. The organizers are Yerlan Birtalaev, Zhanar Zhaksibaeva, Nurbol Usenov and Saken Irkitbaev, assistant professor of the Geography and Ecology Department, responsible for career guidance work.

The young guests viewed the newly equipped Geographic Information System (GIS) room at the institute and the teaching laboratories of the departments of chemistry and biology, as well as familiarized themselves with the research work of students. The meeting concluded with a guided tour of the Abay Museum. The students expressed their gratitude to the organisers.
