On March 31, at the Institute of Natural Science and Geography of KazNPU named after Abai, in order to explain the importance of waste sorting and increase the willingness to participate in everyday life in waste classification, a lecture was held with the participation of the public environmental movement "Recycle Bіrge".

The guests gave a lecture and demonstrated the separate collection of waste in Almaty for students and teachers.

The organizers were faced with the task of implementing the SDG goals in KazNPU named after. Abay (No. 12 Rational consumption and production) and attracting the attention of undergraduate students of KazNPU named after Abay (environmentalists, biologists, etc.) to the sorting of municipal solid waste.
