A scientific discussion "Assessment in Education" was held at Abai KazNPU

On April 1, 2023, the online scientific discussion "Assessment in Education" was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The scientific event was held within the framework of the international scientific and educational project "Bilim zhane Bolashak", the organizers are the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology and the Testing Center of Abai KazNPU (Kosherbayeva A.N., Issaliyeva S.T., Issabayeva D.N.), Center for pedagogical measurements under Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (Yessingeldinov B.T.), Eurasian Scientific and Methodological Journal "East-West".

The scientific discussion was attended by representatives of schools and universities of Astana, Almaty, Oskemen, Taraz, Kostanay, Aktobe, Kokshetau, Ayagoz, Kyzylorda, Karaganda, Shymkent, State University of Jakarta (Indonesia), Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and Khazar University (Azerbaijan), NRU HSE, etc.

The relevance of the issues discussed, the professional composition of the speakers and the attention of the audience contributed to an interactive exchange of views in the field of assessing the achievements of students, training teachers, building a person`s self-awareness, advanced training, etc.

Summing up the results of the discussion, the main directions for the further study and discussion were formed.
