Opening of the laboratory «Psychological diagnostics of personality»

On April 03, 2023, the opening ceremony of the educational and research laboratory «Psychological Diagnostics of Personality» was held at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU under the leadership of the Department of General and Applied Psychology.

The event was attended by members of the University Board: Buribayev Ermek - Vice-Rector for Research; Isakova Klara - Vice-Rector for Administrative and Financial Activities; Nurlanov Shyngys - Vice-Rector for Social Development.

Also, the opening ceremony of the laboratory was attended by: Abayeva Galiya- Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology; Absatova Marfuga- Deputy Director for Research and International Relations; Akzholova Aktoty - Deputy Director for Academic Affairs; Sholtay Saule- Deputy Director for Educational and Social Work.

The honour of cutting the ribbon was given to E.A. Buribayev and K.T. Isakova. They congratulated the management and staff of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, teaching staff of the Department of General and Applied Psychology and wished fruitful work and new achievements in the training of practical psychologists.

G.Abaeva highlighted the work of training and research laboratories of the Institute, the Head of the Department of General and Applied Psychology Gulmira Nietbaeva spoke about the goals and objectives of the new laboratory. Professor Satova Akmaral of the Department of General and Applied Psychology also spoke about the scientific potential of the department, the functions of the teaching and research laboratory, candidate of psychological sciences Nadirbekova Aisha reported on the content and features of the teaching and research laboratory techniques, senior teacher Mombieva Gulmira familiarized with the principles of various techniques.

At the conclusion of this event, Letters of Thanks were presented to persons who provided sponsorship support for the opening of the educational and research laboratory «Psychological Diagnostics of Personality». Also, students of the specialty «Training of a practical psychologist» and activists of the student government organized a festive concert dedicated to the opening of laboratories and the professional holiday «International Day of the Psychologist».
