Republican competition "Pedagogical debut"

On April 5, 2023 the Republican contest "Pedagogical debut" was held among the 3-4 year students of the specialty "Chemistry" of pedagogical direction in order to choose the space for creative freedom of future teachers, the direction of research, formation of self-realization, personal and professional development. The event was organised by the Department of Chemistry of the Institute of Natural History and Geography and the Council of Young Researchers, in accordance with the action plan of the Decade of Science.

The jury of the competition - Professor of the International Humanitarian-Technical University Estekova Khanshaiym (Chairman), Associate Professor Izbasarova Rimma, Associate Professors Meirmanova Aimangul, Dyusebayev Khanat, Senior Lecturers Chinibayeva Nurzhan and Nugmanova Luiza.

6 student teams took part in the competition: Abai KazNPU (2 teams), KazNWTTU (2 teams), West-Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemissov, Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata, South Kazakhstan University, Shymkent University.

The competition consisted of five rounds: "Profession-Proud" - self-presentation; "I am a teacher" - a short lesson; "Pedagogical Blitz" - a quick answer; "Pedagogical situation" - situational questions; "Talented teacher" - to show their talents.

The teams were very active at all stages. By the decision of the jury the teams "Tomiris" and "Tumar" of KazNPU took the 3rd place (for 50 000 tenge), the team "Chemunity" of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University - the 2nd place (for 70 000 tenge), the teams "Wanna be`s teacher" and "Feature teacher" of Abai KazNPU - the 1st place (for 100 000 tenge). The teams that participated in the competition and their leaders were awarded letters of appreciation.
