Communication with school through music

On 9 April 2023, II international festival-contest of children and youth art "Oz Yelim" organised by "Murager" Arts Centre took place at Tchaikovsky Music College, one of the leading educational institutions of the country. The event was held in various nominations: instrumental genre, vocal, choreography, traditional song and theatrical art. The aim was to propaganda of Kazakh folk music, improvement of musical and aesthetic education of students, promotion of professional level of future specialists and development of art of speech.

The teachers of the faculty of music education and choreography of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports carry out educational work at the secondary and complimentary schools in addition to their primary, as well as tutor and adviser activity. They also work with students outside school hours, developing their competences and expanding the educational potential of young people, promoting a love of art and music.

Acting professor Laura Kakimova studies the piano with children, teaching them instrumental skills, developing their musical abilities, aesthetic taste and broadening their horizons and talents, thus forming their musical culture, which is the basis of harmonious personality of the 21st century. Her students are pupils of the Virtuose Creative Studio House, who study music with great desire and creativity. For them, participation in such competitions is the development of skills on the piano, the opportunity to perform on stage, it is emotion and a desire to win!

As a result - the victory of Laura Kakimova`s pupils in the nomination "Instrumental genre": 2nd place - Muratbekov Taman (11 years) with the composition "Goodby" by Jan A.P.Kaczmarek in the middle age group; 2nd place - Ibrayeva Aida (10 years) with the composition "Mickey Mouse" to the music by M. Schmitz, and 3rd place - Faizulla Kausar (7 years) with the work "Dance" by A.Gedike in the younger age group.

Young performers have received a lot of impressions and were awarded prizes and diplomas, and the director of the competition received a letter of gratitude from the organizers for preparing children for the creative competition and the promotion of music among schoolchildren.
