Debate Tournament "Educated Youth is the Future of the Country"

On April 8, 2023 interinstitutional debate tournament "Educated youth is the future of the country" was held within the Decade of Science, conducted by organization of student self-government of the Institute of History and Law "NurDekanat" and active students. Freshmen of all institutes of Abai KazNPU participated in the tournament.

The opening and closing ceremonies were attended by Nurlan Manapov, Deputy Director for Educational and Social Work at the Institute of History and Law, Mukhtar Muratkazin, Deputy Director for Research, and members of the Atameken club.

The tournament was held in APF and LD formats. According to the results of the debate tournament, the first place was taken by the "Alfatsentavr" faction (Arman Zharylkasyn and Meirli Takhatbek, Institute of Natural History and Geography), second - the "For Three-Headed Dragon" faction (Zhaidar Nygmetova and Aidana Baigali, Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics), third - the "For Mental Pleasure" faction (Laura Zholtay and Marina Uzbekova, Institute of Psychology and Pedagogy). Islambek Balmagambet (Institute of History and Law) won in the Best Speaker category and Elzhan Abdykarim (Institute of History and Law) won in the Best Judge category. The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes. Congratulations to all participants and winners!
