Problems of ensuring the biological security of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On April 6-7, 2023 at the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of KazNPU named after Abay in the Decade of Science professor of the Department of "Biology" Aidarbayeva Doktorkhan and master student Taldybay Aknur met with the Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction, headed by Director General, Academician Gulnara Sitpaeva, director of the city station of young naturalists Mahmudova Dinara and head of the ecological and biological department of the Palace of Students of Almaty Indira Kuralbayeva. Indira Kuralbayeva, Head of the Ecology and Biology Department of the Palace of Students, Almaty on "Problems of Biological Safety in Kazakhstan".

With the help of the guide Svetlana Nabiyeva, the participants got acquainted with the diversity of plants in the Botanical Garden. There are 174.3 thousand new plants, including rare species and special varieties (1182 trees, 40 thousand shrubs, 130 thousand grasses and perennials, etc.). The meeting was very interesting, informative and very important in shaping the students` environmental thinking.
