Intellectual competition for the recognition of the peoples of the world

On April 10, 2023 within the Decade of Science of Abai KazNPU senior lecturers of the Department of "Geography and Ecology" of Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography R.E. Kaldybekova and A.N. Beikitova organized intellectual competition among second-year students of the specialty "6B05203-Geography" on the theme "Recognition of the peoples of the world".

The aim of the event was to enrich the received knowledge on the subject "Geography of population with the bases of demography" about the features of nationality, race, language, religion, about the population of the world and to strengthen friendship between nations.

The competition consisted of stages: Familiarity, Think and Find!; Captains` Contest; Homework (national dance or song in the language of one of the nations of choice); Cheerleading Contest. Four teams participated, which presented their knowledge and skills.

As a result, 1st place was taken by "GENEVA", 2nd - by "VIVA MEXICO", 3rd place was shared by "OCEAN" and "NAPOLEON".
