Master class "The potential of modern technologies in the system of primary education"

On April 24, 2023, professor of the department of "Primary education" of the institute of pedagogy and psychology, Kazakh national pedagogical university named after Abai Amirov Amina Slyamkhanovna held a master class on the topic "The potential of modern technologies in the system of primary education" for students of educational program "Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education". The event were attended by students of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, Kazakh National Women`s Pedagogical University, South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University, East Kazakhstan university named after S. Amanzholov, Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, Arkalyk state pedagogical institute, as well as teachers of secondary school №30.

The master class contributed to the development of digital competence, the consolidation of theoretical knowledge about digital technologies with practical tasks. To use STEM technology, the tasks of the stations "Technology", "Mathematics", "Engineering" and "Science" were proposed. Conducted feedback with the participants of the master class.

Also, the participants were introduced Smartpedagog website, educational platforms such as wordwall.net, LearningApps.org, kahoot, gynzy.com, thinglink.com, joyteka.com, padlet.com and received tasks showing their effectiveness. During these tasks, the participants expressed their opinion.

In the modern period of development of science and technology, there is a high need for knowledge and a high level of digital literacy of students. Every teacher should be able to effectively use digital technologies in the classroom. Therefore, today`s master class has become useful for every specialist. The event was held at a very high level.
