Student industrial practice

Students of the 3rd year of the specialty «6B05301-Chemistry» have completed practical training at the Institute of Polymer Materials and Technologies. The organizer is the head of the practice, teacher Asem Uzakova.

On the first day of practice, an introductory tour was conducted. The Institute was founded in 1999 on the initiative of Professor, laureate of the State Prize of the Kazakh SSR Sarkyt Kudaibergenov. The main activity of the Institute is to conduct fundamental and applied research in the field of chemistry and physics of polymers, as well as the introduction of scientific results into production, said senior researcher Gulnur Tatykhanova.

The Institute is equipped with more than 40 types of advanced, latest equipment from the USA, Japan and Europe. Students studied the physico-chemical properties of polymers on several devices and consolidated their knowledge in practice.
