Universiade-2023

From June 4 to June 10, 2023, Aktau hosted the competitions of the 12th Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan in togyzkumalak.​ The national team of KazNPU named after Abai took the 2nd team place: both boys and girls won silver medals 2nd place in the individual competition was taken by a 1st-year student of OMSI FKS, master of sports​ Daken Eldar. The same result showed​ 1st year student, Master of Sports Pernebaev Yerasyl. Among the girls, the 3rd place in the individual competition was taken by a 3rd-year student,​ Master of Sports Kuatova Aruzhan and freshman OMSI FKS, Master of Sports Tursynali Akerke.

The winning teams were awarded with Cups, medals, diplomas, prize gifts!​ The head coach of the national team of KazNPU named after Abai is Iralin Mira.​ The representative of the team is Ashimkhanov Galymzhan.
