Our student took the first place in the championship of the countries of the Asia - Pacific region in combat sambo

On June 06-14, 2023, Astana hosted the Asia-Pacific Combat Sambo Championship among young men and juniors. About 600 athletes from 30 countries took part in the championship.

Tamirlan Kabdrakhmanov, a 3rd-year student of the specialty «6B04202-Law» of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU, took part in the championship of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, who took the first place in the 79 kg weight category.

Rector of Abai University Darkhan Bilyalov congratulated Tamerlan on his victory and wished him success in his sports career! Awarded with special prizes of Abai University.

Tamerlan Abdrakhmanov, by the decision of the Sports and Combat Sambo Federation of Kazakhstan, received a ticket to the upcoming World Combat Sambo Championship among youth and young men. Good luck to Tamirlan!
