Meeting with a delegation from Jiaotong Xi`an University

Representatives from Xi`an Jiaotong University (PRC), led by Presidential Assistant Wenhua Shan, met with Darhan Bilyalov, Rector of Abai KazNPU, Ulzharkyn Abdigapbarova, Director of the Department of Science, Marfuga Absatova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Education and Psychology, Jadyra Baynazar, Director of International Cooperation and Nargiz Bekbanova, Head of International Programs and Cooperation Division, on 5 July 2023.

Various aspects of cooperation, including student and faculty exchanges, joint research and academic programmes, were discussed during the meeting. Particular attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the field of post-doctoral studies. As a result, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the universities.

This meeting was an important event underlining the desire of the two universities to deepen cooperation in the field of education. This will benefit students, lecturers and researchers of the universities, as well as contribute to the development of education and culture in both countries.
