Kemel Tokayev`s detectives are published in turkish

Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology of Abai KazNPU Yergali Esbosynov translated into Turkish the detectives of the Kazakh writer Kemel Tokayev "Tunde atylgan ok" - "Bullet fired in the night" (Zhazushi publishing house, Almaty, 1971) and "Taudagy Zhangyryk" - "Echo of the Mountain" (LLP "Ana Tili Publishing House, Almaty, 2010). The translation was carried out by order and with grants from the public association "Orkeniyet Alemi - The World of Civilization".

On August 28, 2023, a ceremony of handing over books in Turkish to the chairman of the public association "Orkeniyet Alemi - The World of Civilization" Serikkalieva Almagul took place at the Almaty office of the Union of Writers of the TURKSOY countries.

Kemel Tokayev is one of the first and most famous authors of works of the detective genre, which is a unique phenomenon in Kazakh and Turkic literature. The writer`s detectives deservedly have a large contingent of readers and fans. For the followers of the writer`s work, it will be an honorable task to recall such a rich spiritual heritage, reflect on its values and present it in a modern form. On this occasion, at the initiative of the public association "Orkeniyet Alemi - The World of Civilization" and with the support of the Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev and the Kazakh representative of this international organization, Kairat Samatuly, a large-scale international event "100 years for the expert in the detective genre of the Turkic world" is planned. Within the framework of this event, the works of Kemel Tokayev will be published for the first time in Turkish, Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz languages.

The presentation ceremony of the translated works is planned to be held in Astana, Almaty and Ankara in October this year.
