Benefits of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in education for students

Coursera`s online education platform provides students with the opportunity to choose a course according to their major. Regardless of your educational interest, you can always find a suitable course here, in Kazakh, Russian, English and other languages.

When selecting a course, students are provided with a course outline. It includes the titles and duration of the videos, the amount of material for independent work and tests. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate in electronic form with the signatures of the instructors and the stamp of the university whose programme was completed.

Currently, 1,500 students of Abai KazNPU are in the process of studying on the Coursera platform. In addition, 3,000 students have successfully completed their studies and received relevant certificates.

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, students of Abai KazNPU have access to 100 free courses on the Coursera platform.
