Open lessons

In the period from October 11 to October 13, 2023, according to the approved schedule of the educational and methodological section of the teaching staff of the department, open classes were held with students.

Thus, on October 11, open classes were held by senior teacher Samat Togelbayuly with 4th year students of the educational program "6B11102 - Cultural and leisure work" in the discipline "Musical Literacy" and associate professor Erbolat Mustafayev in the discipline "The main instrument is the dombra" with 1st year students of the educational program "6B01402-Music Education", where the main task was to provide fundamental knowledge about music and basic skills in playing the dombra.

On October 13, 2023, in the discipline "Methods of Teaching Music", Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Laura Kakimova conducted an open lesson with 3rd (4th) year students of the educational program "6B01402-Music Education". The topic of the lesson is "Bloom`s Taxonomy. Criteria-based assessment. Formative assessment" was in the nature of familiarizing future music teachers with the features of the updated content of the secondary education program, which will be important to them in their future teaching activities at school. The lecturer used various methods and forms of work, demonstrating broad professional competencies. The commission noted the important factor of an open lesson - a free atmosphere, a collective form of work, cohesion, a creative approach, which allows students to master and consolidate the topic of the lesson. The acquired knowledge, skills and abilities will allow students to further undergo teaching practice in the next semester, where students will be able to consolidate them in practice in the process of teaching music lessons to schoolchildren.
