Results of the TikTok challenge "Long live the teacher!"

On October 16, 2023, the Department of Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abay University held an online meeting with participants in the TikTok challenge "Long live the teacher!". The competition was held among 2nd year students with the aim of popularizing the teaching profession, increasing interest in teaching, and developing the skills of a 21st century teacher. More than 100 short videos were received from students who posted on their social media pages (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) with the hashtag #YesHappyEducator.

Students, working on the creation of a video, demonstrated their respect for the teaching profession, revealed the true essence of the profession, and elevated its social status by posting it online. The winners in the following competition nominations were presented at the event: "Best recognition of the profession", "For love of the profession", "Best pedagogical start", "The pedagogical future is behind us", "Best creative video", "Best motivator video", " Best video message", "Best music video", "Best recitation".

Teams with Kazakh language of instruction: 1st place - group FOC 222, specialty "Physics"; 2nd place - 206 group, specialty "Kazakh tiles and men"; 3rd place -201 group, specialty "Shet tili: eki shet tili"; Teams with Russian language of instruction: 1st place - Biley E., Asylova U. (specialty "Biology"); 2nd place - Bibosynova M., Shashkova K., Nursultankyzy T., Bekpulatova L., Ulykbek A., Zhanaeva A., Ushur N. and Bordyug T. (specialty "Russian language and literature"); 3rd place - Karim G., Ornabidenova N. (specialty "Russian language and literature with non-Russian language of instruction").

The winning videos will be posted on the social pages (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) of the Department of Pedagogy. We express our gratitude to the students for their activity!
