On 18 July , 2017, the "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" newspaper published the results of the new rating "Kazakhstan-2050 - National Ranking on Innovation and Academic Excellence" , conducted by the Republican Rating Agency (RRA) and the National Academy of Sciences of Higher School of Kazakhstan with the participation of the Ministry of Education and Science RK.

          The ranking evaluation of universities was carried out for such indicators as academic reputation, reputation among employers, academic and scientific innovation activities, internationalization, the demand for graduates.

           The ranking includes 50 Kazakhstan  universities, among them  Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University  took 6th place.

            The socio-professional community made an assessment based on the key missions of universities i.e. a quality education; student and his needs; scientific researches and commercialization of their results; transfer of knowledge and international activities.
