Open lecture session of Associate Professor Anar Alimbekova

On November 6, 2023, in accordance with the plan of the Department, Associate Professor Anar Alimbekova held an open lecture lesson with heuristic elements on the topic "Bullying (cyberbullying), factors and technology of prevention" with the students of the 4th year of the speciality "6B01801-Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge" of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology in the discipline "Technologies of social-pedagogical protection of children`s rights". In the course of the lesson, students were given a task and had to independently find a logically justified solution to questions on a new topic based on the knowledge they had learnt. The planning of this type of lecture ensures the realisation of tasks related to the predetermined goal, taking into account the knowledge of the audience.

A.A. Alimbekova explained the history of bullying (cyberbullying), methodological foundations, types, factors and technology of its prevention. Students asked questions and received answers with the help of animated slides. The students were sent a test-questionnaire "Bullying", compiled in Google Forms by the author of the anti-bullying programme, Professor of the University of Bergen (Norway), psychologist D. Olweus. The students` answers were reflected on a Led screen and the results were analysed jointly by the lesson participants.

The new materials presented at the lecture were fully assimilated by the students: this was shown by the feedback. We hope that students will be able to fully apply the knowledge and techniques learnt in practice.
