Meeting with a famous poet

On November 15, 2023 students of Abai KazNPU met with the author of the story "Bolmaghan balalyk shak" Akberen Yelgezek. He is a famous poet, winner of the Kazakh youth award "Serper" named after T.Aybergenov, the State Youth Award "Daryn", the public award "Altyn kalam", head of the public fund "Support of Kazakh literature". The meeting was organized by the National Educational Centre and the Institute of Philology.

Rector Bolat Tlep, who took part in the event, spoke about the works of Akberen Yelgezek, his contribution to the national literature and presented the guest with the jubilee medal of our university.

At the meeting, participants of the student theatre "Urker" performed songs written by the poet and recited his poems. Literature lovers who gathered at the event actively asked Akberen Yelgezek questions and received interesting answers. All those present expressed their gratitude to the guest and the organisers of the meeting.
