Methodological seminar in Turkestan city

On November 21-22, 2023 teachers of Abai KazNPU Kalampyr Zhumagulova, Zhazira Mukatayeva, Asiya Maimataeva and Makhabbat Amanbayeva held a methodological seminar in Turkestan under the project funded under the state order on "Methodological bases of formation of functional science literacy of schoolchildren in accordance with PISA studies".

The event was attended by Head of the Biology Department of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H.A. Yasavi I. Isayev, Director of general education school No.24 named after M.Shokay E.Rysbekov, Director of Lyceum IT-school No.13 named after J.Tashenov J.Azretbergenova, Director of Ataturk Gymnasium No. 17 R. Urumova, Director of general education school No.16 named after T.Bigeldinov N.Dyusebek, school teachers and students of 8-10 grades.

At the seminar, the methodological manual "Assignments for Improving Science Literacy of Schoolchildren", published within the framework of the project, was presented, and the possibilities of introducing science disciplines into the teaching process were analysed. In addition, career guidance work on educational programmes of Abai KazNPU was conducted.
