The Psychological Support service held another preventive meeting with the students of the hostel

During the period from November 20 to 24, 2023, psychologists of Abai KazNPU met with students of dormitories No. 1, 2, 3, 5 and 8 on the topic «The importance of financial literacy». The purpose is to provide students with up-to-date and basic information about financial literacy, explain how to set financial goals and how to achieve them effectively and efficiently.

At the beginning of the meeting, psychologists shared information about managing income and expenses, drawing up a financial plan, and using financial services. They also explained the change of goals depending on age, the definition of their goals and how to achieve them.

Students were introduced to what financial services they can use in the future, the importance of not giving personal bank cards and identity cards to strangers, how to avoid financial mistakes and financial pyramids, slot machines and forex.

The meeting was attended by about 150 students.
