A competition was announced for the position of the first head of NJSC "Abai KazNPU"

The Board of Directors of Non-Profit Joint Stock Company "Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai" announces a competition for the position of Chairman of the Board-Rector of NJSC "Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University", located at 050010, 13 Dostyk Ave., Almaty.

The main subject of activity of the first head of this institution is to provide educational services in the field of higher, postgraduate, technical and vocational, post-secondary and additional education. As well as creating the necessary conditions for receiving quality education, training and teaching aimed at the formation, development and professional formation of the individual on the basis of national and universal values, achievements of science and practice, development of scientific potential and commercialization of developments.

Requirements to participants: higher education and/or postgraduate education, at least five years` experience in managerial positions in educational organisations and/or authorized bodies in the relevant fields.

Persons who are not allowed to participate in the competition:
1) under twenty-five years of age;
2) a person who has previously committed a corruption offence;
3) persons with an outstanding or unexpunged criminal record;
4) those who have been registered with medical special institutions;
5) other cases stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The person applying for participation in the competition shall submit the following documents:
1) an application in the prescribed form;
2) a copy of an identity document;
3) a service record with a 3x4 colour photo in the prescribed form;
4) the higher education institution`s development programme;
5) copies of education documents and their annexes with the submission of the originals for verification;
6) a copy of a document confirming the work activity certified by the personnel service at the place of work (current or last);
7) a medical certificate of health status (medical professional advisory opinion) on Form No. 086/u;
8) certificate from a psycho-neurological organisation issued not more than one year before the day of submission of documents in accordance with the legislation on public services;
9) certificate from a narcological organisation issued not more than one year before the day of submission of documents in accordance with the legislation on public services;
10) document confirming the absence of prohibition to hold a position in accordance with the criminal legislation.

Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition is carried out within 10 (ten) calendar days from the day of publication of the announcement.

The date and place of the contest will be announced additionally.
