Three teachers of Abai University are honoured with the title "Best University Teacher - 2023"

The Republican Competition Commission has determined the names of the winners of the annual contest "Best University Teacher of 2023". This year 150 teachers from 43 Kazakhstani universities were recognised as the best in their professional field.

Among the worthy winners, three teachers of Abai University were awarded the title of "Best Teacher of the University". They are Kymbat Bekenaeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modelling of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, PhD, Duman Aliaskarov, Head of the Department of Geography and Ecology of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography, PhD, and Bolat Zhumagulov, Professor of the Department of World History of the Institute of History and Law. These teachers and their scientific works were recognised as the best in the field of their work.

The evaluation criteria included the development and publication of electronic teaching resources, scientific publications in national and international journals, patents for invention and other achievements. The quality of teaching and contribution to training at all levels of education - from undergraduate to doctoral studies - were also evaluated.

The annual competition is aimed at supporting and stimulating the professional growth of teachers and raising the prestige of their profession. In addition to monetary incentives, the winners will receive a well-deserved badge for high achievements in education and science.
