The program of double-degree education: Gazi University and Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University

On March 25, 2024, in order to increase the level of university science and academic mobility, and implement new forms of multilateral training programs, bilateral negotiations on the implementation of a program of double-degree education of preschool education and upbringing took place at Gazi University in Ankara (Turkey).

Gazi University (Turkey) and Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University have been strategic partners for many years.

During the scientific visit, a business meeting was held between teachers of the department under the leadership of Ulbossyn Kyyakbayeva and scientists Gulbanu Abitova, Anar Alimbekova, Assem Bulshekbayeva with Vice-rector of Gazi Yuzhel Gelishli University, where further steps in the preparation and implementation of a joint educational program were discussed.

Within the framework of the memorandum concluded between the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and Gazi University (Turkey), new vectors of cooperation development, modern approaches to further joint scientific training of teachers in preschool education, training of competitive specialists in the Kazakh and foreign labor markets were considered.

Today, double-degree education is one of the most important tools for integrating universities into the international educational space. This direction meets the strategic interests of the development of universities in terms of increasing their competitiveness, contributes to improving the quality of education and increasing the number of joint research projects.

During the negotiations, joint projects on bilateral research work were also analyzed, optimal decisions were made on the organization of academic mobility among the teaching staff, planning the work of the summer school on pre-school education.
