A special delegation from the University of Poitiers has arrived at Abai University

On April 4, 2024, a delegation from the University of Poitiers (France) visited KazNPU named after Abai on an official visit.

During the meeting of vice-rectors of Abai KazNPU Banu Narbekova and Aigul Iskakova with representatives of a foreign partner university, plans for the development of cooperation between the two universities were discussed. The parties reached an agreement on the implementation of a new two-degree educational program "French Language Teacher". The intention to open a French Language Didactics Center at Abai KazNPU was also announced.

As part of the French delegation`s stay at the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan KazNPU named after Abai, two international round tables were held: "The experience of juvenile justice in France" and "Inclusive University: the experience of Kazakhstan and France". The meetings provided an opportunity for the exchange of experience and scientific dialogue between Kazakh and French specialists, contributing to the development of cooperation and mutual understanding in the field of justice and inclusive education.

The University of Poitiers is one of the leading universities in France, and its representatives arrived in order to strengthen partnerships and expand cooperation with the Kazakh side.
