Work progress of Abai University students` internships in educational institutions in Astana

The guidance of experienced methodologists, senior teacher of the Department of Biology Gulzhanat Kamiyeva, senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages Sholpan Sultankulova, senior teacher of the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics Teaching Methods Akmaral Sugurbekova visited educational institutions of Astana during the period between April 7-13 in order to supervise the progress of internship. Olzhas Akmambetov, a videographer in the public relations department, filmed meetings with employees of educational institutions, interviews with them, classes of students and events organized by them in order to create a short film about the production experience.

The management and practical leaders of educational institutions in Astana noted that the theoretical knowledge, methodological preparation and responsibility for their work of students of Abay University are at a very high level. He said that students thoroughly prepare for each lesson, widely use modern digital technologies, work closely with learners, and suggested that students stay to work in their educational institutions. 50-60 percent of Abay University students are eager to start their career in Astana after their internship experience organized to eliminate the shortage of teaching staff in the field of education in the capital.
