Abai KazNPU and AlmaU exchanged experiences

On 22 November, 2017 Abai KazNPU delegation headed by rector Takir Balykbayev visited AlmaU. Vice-rectors, directors of departments and institutes, heads of structural divisions took part in the meeting.

The visit purpose was to exchange of experience with representatives of the relevant departments of AlmaU, which manage the educational and scientific processes of the university.

During the visit was held a tour of the campus, in which the guests visited the laboratory of Neuromarketing, a simulation room, a workshop of oratorical art, the DesignLab, the Cyber-Polygon laboratory "InzhEkon", the multimedia journalism center MediaLab, Kaizen Center, CreativeZoneAlmaU, AlmaU innovative museum.

The rector and vice-rectors of AlmaU held presentation sessions about the university, management, principles of academic freedom, the university development strategy, and the application of the project approach in the management of the educational process and scientific research. The participants of the visit got acquainted with the activities of the Center of Excellence and the center for career planning and work with alumni. About the issues of recruiting and international cooperation, AlmaU colleagues presented the experience of the management of marketing and communications and management of international development.

This visit of Abai KazNPU delegation to AlmaU will be an important practical step in the realization of joint educational and research projects.
