Career guidance work in the cities of Uzbekistan

On April 21-30, 2024, representatives of Abai University took part in the international educational exhibition "Education and Profession" in the cities of Navoi and Nukus. The exhibition was organized by the My fair company with the assistance of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan. During the event, a presentation of educational programs and student life at Abai University was held.

During this trip to Uzbekistan, schools of the city of Zaravshan, Tamdyn, Uchkuduk and Kenimeh in Navoi region, Khozhelin, Takhtakupyr and Kungrad districts of Karakalpakstan were visited, where a large number of representatives of the Kazakh diaspora study. During the meeting, the representatives talked about scholarship and quota programs of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for "kandas". Among other things, they explained step-by-step the registration and passing for the UNT and presented the educational programs of Abai University.

Also, meetings were held with the Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khozhabayeva Gulistan, with the heads of district education departments and school principals. During the discussion, they talked about scholarship and quota programs of the Government of Kazakhstan for "kandas" and informing all graduates of Kazakh schools in Karakalpakstan
