Representatives of Abay University went to the international event dedicated to the 380th anniversary of Aiteke bi

On May 14, 2024, representatives of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University went to the international event dedicated to the "380th anniversary of Aiteke BI", which will be held in Navoi, Uzbekistan. The event was attended by high-ranking guests from the Turkic states and international organizations.

On May 14-19 of this year, representatives of the University: Vice-Rector for social development Maksat Zhakauov, head of the psychological support service Saida Kosbay, head of the Career Center Rakhimberdi Zhetybay and students of the Faculty of Arts visited the joint event dedicated to the anniversary of the "380th anniversary of Aiteke Bi" of the regional branch of the Kazakh national cultural center of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the mausoleum of Aiteke bi, known as the dance of the younger zhuz, is located in the Navoi region of Uzbekistan. Until 2008, it was unknown where he was buried. Later, after questioning the local population, Aiteke bi`s cemetery was identified in Nurata District of Navoi region, and research work was carried out.

Then, in 2009, with the support of descendants, famous political figures and local Kazakhs, the mausoleum was erected. In subsequent years, a mosque, a museum, and a room for a shaman were built near the complex, and the mausoleum was fully opened in 2012.
