Defense of the master`s thesis of the holder of the intergovernmental grant of the People`s Republic of China Zhang Jiaqi

 

On June 17, 2024, the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU defended the master`s thesis of Zhang Jiaqi, the holder of an intergovernmental grant from the People`s Republic of China, (scientific supervisor PhD, associate Professor Gulbanu Abitova) on the topic "Comparative analysis of the training of future teachers of a preschool organization based on the TPACK model (for example Kazakhstan and China)", submitted for a Master`s degree in pedagogical Sciences in OP 7M01201 - Preschool education and upbringing.

 

Zhang Jiaqi`s dissertation research is devoted to an important pedagogical problem of training competent teachers who are ready for successful professional and personal self-realization.

 

The members of the commission noted the relevance of the topic of training future teachers of preschool organizations based on the TPACK model. Head of the Department of Preschool Education Ulbosyn Kyyakbayeva noted the novelty of scientific results, which studied the patterns of development of preschool organizations in Kazakhstan and China, revealed the essence, structure and mechanisms of training future teachers of preschool organizations in pedagogical universities of Kazakhstan (KazNPU named after Abai) and China (Tianshui Pedagogical University) based on the TPACK model.

 

The scientific results of the master`s studies are reflected in foreign peer-reviewed journals:

 

1. Conflict issues and coping strategies among rural preschool teachers in special positions a qualitative analysis of a rural preschool special post teachers . Sciences of Europe (Praha, Czech Republic) No 131 (2023).

 

2. Research on the application of TPACK technology in college teaching German International Journal of Modern Science №57 2023.

 

In the history of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy, this is the first successful experience of preparing a foreign undergraduate to defend a master`s thesis in English.
