The Second Summit of Educators has started in Almaty: Abai University is the Strategic partner of this large-scale educational project
Today, August 19, 2024, the Second Summit of Teachers, organized by the Inclusive Development Foundation (IDF), began in Almaty. Abai University, as the country`s first and leading pedagogical institution, has become the strategic partner in this large-scale educational and scientific-innovative project involving global experts.
The goal of the Second Summit of Educators is to strengthen the professional competencies of teachers through the exchange of advanced knowledge and practices in inclusive education, artificial intelligence, and socio-emotional intelligence. The summit aims to create conditions for the development of innovative approaches to teaching, thereby enhancing the quality of education and implementing the best global practices in pedagogical activities.
As part of the large-scale educational and scientific-innovative project, the summit will feature global experts who will share practical knowledge and skills on inclusive education and artificial intelligence over the course of three days. They will also conduct workshops on topics such as Lesson Study (mathematics) and socio-emotional intelligence.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Banu Narbekova delivered a welcoming speech to the pedagogical community of Almaty on behalf of the Board of Abai University. She emphasized that Abai University`s participation in this event is a significant step in developing the professional competencies of educators, highlighting the importance of continuous learning and the implementation of innovative approaches in education.
The summit will take place from August 19 to 21 in Almaty and Astana. This event fosters the strengthening of international educational collaboration and the implementation of advanced educational practices in Kazakhstan`s pedagogical practices.
