Literary evening "Kazakh abebietinin aksunkary"

On October 9, 2024, a literary evening titled «Қазақ әдебиетінің ақсұңқары» (The Falcon of Kazakh Literature) was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Saken Seyfullin, a prominent Kazakh poet, writer, and public figure.

The event was organized jointly by the Department of Culture and Creativity of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the Almaty City Culture Department, and the Centralized Library System of Almaty City (Branch No. 32).

The evening aimed to popularize the life and work of Saken Seyfullin, a classic of Kazakh literature, and to increase public interest in his literary legacy.

The event featured speeches by Nurdaulet Akysh, a writer, researcher, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, laureate of the international «Zhambyl» and «Alash» awards, and Doctor of Philology; and Mukhan Mamythan, a member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan and the editor-in-chief of the magazine «Tanjaryk». They expressed gratitude to the first-year students of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, as well as members of the «Alem» youth organization, for their active participation in the meeting.

The event was held on a large scale, culturally and spiritually.
