Republic Day was solemnly celebrated at Abai University

On October 24, 2024, the Youth Affairs Department of the Department of Social and Youth Policy of Abai KazNPU, together with the faculties of the university, held a solemn event dedicated to October 25 - the Day of the Republic «Performance of the national Anthem».

The event was organized in order to explain the importance of Republic Day to young people developing as individuals, invite them to patriotic education, protect our national values, symbols of the country, form a national spirit, instill in the minds of every young person a love for their native land.

The ceremony was attended by Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of KazNPU named after Abai Banu Narbekov, Vice-rector for Research and Innovation Yertai Sultan, Vice-rector for Social Development Maksat Zhakauov, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Fauzia Orazbayeva and university staff, teachers, as well as students.

During the event, Banu Narbekova congratulated the participants on the Republic Day and noted that this day is especially solemn and important for our sovereign country.

The university administration, teachers and active students gathered at the solemn event raised the flag - the symbol of our independence and sang the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It is worth noting that the National Anthem was simultaneously played in all academic buildings and dormitories of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the Republic Day was solemnly celebrated, which became the first step towards independence.
