A meeting was held with the staff of the Almaty City Police Department

On November 7, 2024, the Department of Social and Youth Policy of Abai KazNPU organized a meeting where students of the university met with officers of the Almaty City Police Department.

The speaker of the event was Police Major Samat Alibekov, a senior investigator for especially important cases with the Department`s Organized Crime Division.

During the meeting, the speaker and university students discussed various offenses commonly encountered among youth, including drug abuse and prevention measures, fraud, the lure of easy money and its associated risks, as well as topics such as theft, violence, gambling addiction, and bullying.

Students actively engaged in the discussion and received informative answers to their questions. At the conclusion, Head of the Social Work Department, Kainar Malikov, expressed gratitude to the guest speaker Samat Alibekov for delivering the informational and educational lecture.
