Winners of the «Journey to Childhood» Essay Contest Awarded

On November 27, 2024, the winners of the «Journey to Childhood» essay contest, organized by the National Center for Education «Hakim Abai» and the School of Young Poets named after Orazaly Dosbosynov, were awarded.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of classic Kazakh writer Berdibek Sokpakbaev, the contest was held from November 15 to 27 among university students with the aim of promoting the works of this prominent writer to the younger generation. The contest sought to develop the creative abilities of youth and stimulate the interest of future writers in literature, helping them take their first steps on their creative journey.

As a result of the contest, first place was awarded to Shahryzada Muğau, a second-year student from the Faculty of Education and Psychology; second place went to Zhanell Saylaubai, a second-year student from the Faculty of Philology; and third place was awarded to Bağzhan Bakhybay, a first-year student from the Faculty of Philology. In the nomination of «Talented Writer» the awards were given to first-year master`s student Zhanna Orynbaı, second-year Philology student Aruzhan Iminova, third-year student Dinmukhammed Aliakparov from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics, second-year student Nurgan Kydyrkan from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography, and second-year Philology student Altynai Meyrambek.

Participants of the contest and the winners were presented with letters of thanks, diplomas, and special monetary awards from the Chairman of the Board - Rector.
