Organised an open educational hour entitled `Your native language is your honour`

On 5 September 2025, in honour of the Day of Languages of the nation of Kazakhstan, teachers from the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, Zh.U. Sultanbayeva, E.V. Burmistrova, and N.Nam, together with teachers from the Department of Chinese Language and Chinese Studies, S. Toktarbek, A.N. Rayeva, and S. Meirhan, organised an open educational hour entitled `Your native language is your honour` with the participation of fourth-year students majoring in Korean and Chinese languages.

During the event, the fourth-year students prepared a video presentation in Kazakh, English, Korean and Chinese, in which they talked about the history of the holiday of the languages of the peoples of Kazakhstan, the value of the native language, the development of the education system after the country gained independence, as well as interethnic harmony and linguistic diversity of the peoples living in Kazakhstan.
