A SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR WAS HELD

On September 12, 2025, a planned scientific seminar was held at the Faculty of Natural and Geography, Department of Chemistry of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, devoted to the issues of ensuring the educational, methodological and scientific process. During the meeting, a detailed analysis of the structure of syllabuses and their compliance with the goals and objectives of educational programs was conducted, and proposals for improving the content of disciplines and updating the topics of academic courses were considered.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of consistency of syllabuses with curricula and strategic directions for the development of educational programs, as well as their methodological and practical content.

In addition, the results of scientific and methodological developments of the department`s teachers were discussed, plans for the preparation and publication of educational and scientific materials were considered, and measures to improve the effectiveness of research work were identified. The seminar participants discussed the prospects for the development of educational programs, outlined areas for further work to strengthen the connection between the educational process and scientific research, and developed proposals for improving the planning and organization of departmental activities.

Following the results of the seminar, decisions were made to improve the structure and content of syllabuses, improve the quality of educational programs, strengthen the scientific and methodological base, and further develop the research activities of the department.
