REPUBLIC-WIDE TELECONFERENCE HELD AT ABAY UNIVERSITY

Today, a republic-wide teleconference titled “A New Generation of Teachers: Creative Teaching through Artificial Intelligence” was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The teleconference aimed to present best teaching practices based on the key principles of effectively organizing the educational process through the use of artificial intelligence and information-communication tools, as well as to enhance teachers’ professional competencies by integrating theory and practice.

During the event, particular attention was given to demonstrating advanced practices in applying AI-based teaching skills for future educators and organizing experience exchange among teachers on implementing new forms and methods in pedagogical practice. In addition, the participants broadly discussed the integration of AI tools into the educational process, digital approaches to teaching Abai’s works, the development of digital and functional literacy, as well as the use of interactive platforms and modern educational technologies.

The teleconference dedicated to sharing best practices was opened by Banu Narbekova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the university. She emphasized the relevance of Abai’s philosophical heritage in today’s educational landscape. Teachers of Kazakh language and literature from various regions of the country, known for their advanced pedagogical expertise, participated in the event and shared their methodological insights. They proposed effective approaches to creatively teaching Abai’s works through artificial intelligence.

The topics of the teleconference attracted considerable interest. Among them were presentations such as “Effective Ways of Teaching the Poem ‘Eskendir’ Based on Tasks Generated in the Diff it and NAPKIN AI Neural Networks,” “AI Pedagogy and Abai’s Wisdom: A New Model in Teaching Literature,” “Teaching Abai’s Works in Senior Grades through the Use of Interactive Platforms,” and others. Various projects demonstrating methods of teaching Abai Qunanbaiuly’s works using artificial intelligence were showcased. The event strengthened cooperation between university educators and teachers from secondary education institutions, creating opportunities for joint development of modern educational technologies. This initiative represents an important step toward forming a new generation of teachers—modern, technologically competent, and grounded in national values—by harmonizing tradition and innovation.
