AN AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH PADANG STATE UNIVERSITY (INDONESIA)

Abai University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Padang State University (Universitas Negeri Padang, UNP). This can rightly be considered an important milestone for the strategic bilateral partnership between the universities.

Last week, the Head of the Rector is Office of Abai KazNPU, Professor Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, and the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations, Ertai Sultan, made a working trip to Indonesia. The university representatives held academic and scientific meetings with the leadership of Padang University. During the visit, both sides discussed new avenues for cooperation in education, research, and innovation, expressing a clear intention to implement joint projects.

The Rector of Padang State University, Dr. Krismadinata, warmly welcomed the guests and highly appreciated their lectures delivered within the framework of scientific projects. He expressed confidence that the bilateral partnership will play an important role in strengthening scientific potential and implementing new initiatives in the field of education.

It should be noted that Padang University (UNP) ranks 15th nationally in Indonesia in the field of research, innovation, and social impact. In the Scimago ranking, it is in 5th place among state universities and is highly active in research and innovation. In addition, the university has received international certification and accreditation (AUN-QA, ASIIN, AQAS).

These indicators clearly demonstrate the scientific potential, social impact, and established international reputation of Padang University. The partnership with Abai KazNPU will enable both sides to leverage their opportunities and contribute to the deepening of joint scientific projects and educational programs.
