Nadezhda Lushnikova: I am the daughter of the Kazakh people

On 8 February 2018 at the University there was a meeting «I am the daughter of the Kazakh people», timed to the 90th anniversary of the university. The guest of the evening was Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, veteran of labor, holder of the Order «Kurmet», graduate of KazPI, teacher, poet-improviser Nadezhda Andreevna Lushnikova.

The welcoming speech was made by the rector of KazNPU Takir Balykbaev. In his speech, he stressed that our university is the first university in the country where prominent representatives of the Kazakh people worked (O. Zhandosov, S. Seifullin, A. Baytursynov, H. Dosmukhamedov, T. Zhurgenov, etc.), as well as in different he was headed by A. Asfendiarov, M. Gabdulin, Zh. Zhumabekov, K. Kasymov, T. Sadykov. The rector noted that this year the country`s oldest university turns 90, in connection with which many different events are held, dedicated to the jubilee of the university. Emphasizing the special role of the invited poet-improviser in the world of aitys, Takir Balykbayev awarded Nadezhda Lushnikova with special medals «Abai» for special services and put on a chapan on the Kazakh tradition. The rector wished the poet further creative successes and thanked her for the meeting.

Cognitive was the speech of Doctor of Philology, Professor Temirkhan Tebegenov, who made an excursion into the history of aitys, noted the important role of poet personality in aitys and Kazakh culture in general.

The student of the preparatory faculty Balym Ashimkhan with great inspiration read the poem «I am the daughter of the Kazakh people».

A student of the 1st year of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Kisabaev Aidar spoke with his poem «Arnau», dedicated to the main guest of the evening.

Nadezhda Lushnikova, who spoke about her life, about the difficulties and rehearsals of the art of aitys, also shared her memories. Poet read to her students and guests her lyrical works, which have great educational significance for modern youth, shared her plans.

One of the guests of the evening, poet, composer, performer of the term, scientific employee of the museum «Stone with a tamga» Zhylbek Toktasynov performed excerpts from aitys between the great Zhambyl and Nurila. Before the audience, bringing up talented youth, folk members of the ensemble «Kulansaz» Altyn Alipbaeva, Gulsum Kareneeva, Bazarkul Azhikozhaeva also performed songs.

The evening was concluded by the dean of the Faculty for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University Training (Foundation), Associate Professor Galiya Taubaeva, who emphasized that the event was organized as part of the Elbasy program "Looking into the Future: Modernizing Public Consciousness" and timed to 90th anniversary of Abai KazNPU.
At the end of the evening, students were instructed to work and work hard to obtain quality education.
