Scientific Council dedicated to the anniversary of the academician

June 5, 2018, the regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the famous economist, academician, prominent statesman and public figure Kopzhasar Naribayevich Naribayev.

The solemn meeting was attended by the members of the Academic Council, academicians of the National Academy of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, corresponding members of the academy, heads and representatives of higher educational institutions and scientific institutions.

The rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Takir Balykbaev, gave a brief overview of the life of academician Kopzhasar Naribayev and handed congratulatory letter of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, gave a shapan on behalf of the university staff.

During the event, Vice-rector on educational and methodical work Gabit Kenzhebaev made a comprehensive discovery of academic, pedagogical, managing and civic aspects of academician Kopzhasar Naribayev. Academician Murat Zhurinov, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke about his merited works for the country, about his contribution to science, commissioned a congratulatory letter from the scientists of the National Academy of Sciences and presented a chapan.

Famous academicians Serik Kirabaev, Aliya Sarsenova, Kenzhegali Sagadiev, Amanzhol Koshanov, Sagyndyk Satybaldin, Umirzak Aitbayev, Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Galimkair Mutanov, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Zhakipov and others expressed heartfelt thoughts about the scientist. Representatives of Zhambyl region, his countrymen, congratulated the birthday of Kopzhasar Naribayev.
