Books of the President donated to the university

On 29 June, 2018 in honor of the 20th anniversary of Astana, the library of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University 400 copies of the books "Selected Speeches", "First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. Chronicle of activity", "The era of independence" and "Kazakhstan way".

Rector of Abai KazNPU Takir Balykbaev, addressing the audience, stressed: "President Nursultan Nazarbayev has created a unique way to serve his country and people. Dynamic development of the country and its recognition in the world are the result of a balanced policy of the Head of State. The life of the Head of State is interesting and can serve as a model for any citizen of the country. Books donated today are very expensive for us. Our students, undergraduates and doctoral students will use them in the educational process".

The head of library of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mahmud Kasymbekov noted that the life and activities of the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev are directly related to the country`s independence, a new era in the history of Kazakhstan. The multi-volume collection of works by the national leader entitled "Selected Speeches" includes his public speeches on the most important problems in the first years of independence. The speeches included in this book reflect the views and judgments of the Head of State not only on specific historical events, but also on issues of social construction, socio-economic modernization, national security and international relations. The "Selected speeches" signify the ways and prospects for the development of our state. The book "The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. Chronicle of Activities" includes an analysis of key events in the life of the country and abroad with the participation of the Head of State and contains the texts of his most important speeches, laws, decrees and reference materials. Talking about the book "The era of independence", Mahmud Kasymbekov stressed that this book of the President is a unique historical document, because it details the formation and development of our state from the first days of independence. Each of the presented books is useful and instructive and therefore deserves reader attention.

Famous scientist and public figure Shamsha Berkimbayeva noted the importance of the books of the Head of State and works about him in the matter of educating patriotism and moral formation of youth.

At the end of the meeting the rector of Abai KazNPU Takir Balykbayev thanked Mahmud Kasymbekov for an interesting presentation of books, as well as staff of the library of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for a valuable gift to the university library.
