Headquarters of Civil Acts: Planned Training Provided Worthless!

On 18 October, 2018, the Civil Service Department of Abai KazNPU carried out a civilian training course on «Actions of the managerial, commanding staff, civil defense units of the University to eliminate accidents and restore sections of communications after an earthquake».

In training, which was held on the basis of the military department of the university, the leadership and teachers of this department took an active part. During the training the leading, commanding staff and civil defense units were involved: a rescue team; fire fighting team; link and alert; sanitary link.

Having determined the order of notification, collection and evacuation of people to safe places, they made a check of the warning system; in the educational building of the military department, they worked out practical skills in the implementation of measures after an earthquake, in particular, first aid. The actions required during the training were carried out fairly smoothly and showed a high degree of preparedness for extreme situations.
