Meeting on the results of jubilee celebrations

On 19 October, 2018, the Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University named Takir Balykbayev held a meeting at which the results of the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university were summed up.

University teaching staff and students attended the meeting. In his speech, the rector thanked all the staff, teachers and students for participating in the anniversary celebrations.

«This year, implementing various events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university, within the framework of the initiative «90th anniversary - 90 events», we carried out a lot of organizational and creative work, - said the rector. - In fact, the plans for the preparation and holding of the anniversary conference, concerts, contests, forums began to be implemented starting from January 1, 2018. The peak of the celebratory jubilee events fell on a decade from September 26 to October 5. Each event was organized at a high level, and domestic and foreign guests properly appreciated this.

On the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University - the oldest institution of higher education in the republic - we received cordial congratulations from President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev.

We sent a letter of thanks to the Head of State with words of deep gratitude for supporting the widespread celebration of the anniversary both at the republican and international levels.

Special congratulatory messages were received from the Prime Minister of RK, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Speaker of the Majilis of the Parliament of RK Nurlan Nigmatulin, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of RK Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, Chairman of the Supreme Court of RK Kairat Mami, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of RK Yerlan Sagadiev, Minister of Culture and Sports of the RK A. Mukhamediuly; Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of RK Kairat Abdrakhmanov; Minister of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of RK Darkhan Kaletaev; Chairman of the Board of the National th Welfare Fund «Samruk-Kazyna» Akhmetzhan Yesimov, First Deputy Chairman of «Nur Otan» Maulen Ashimbaev, from akims of regions and districts, university rectors, foreign colleagues».

At the end of the meeting, the rector Takir Balykbayev handed the Honored Teachers, staff of the University a badge in honor of the 90th anniversary of the university, and for active participation in the anniversary events - a monetary reward to 260 employees in the amount of 90 thousand tenge each and more than 200 students 15-20 thousand tenge.
