Seminar «Preparation for the implementation of the international standard 37001: 2016 «Anti-Corruption Management Systems»

On December 20-21, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was held a seminar on preparing for the implementation of the international standard ISO37001: 2016 «Anti-Corruption Management Systems», which was conducted by the director of the consulting agency «ISO Implementation Agency» Anatoly Banduro. The Department of Development Strategy and Analysis of University Quality organized this seminar.

The international standard ISO 37001: 2016 establishes requirements for assessing corruption risks, analyzing the context, introducing and improving the anti-corruption management system in the university`s activities.

The main objective of the two-day seminar is the prevention of corruption offenses in higher education institutions, anti-corruption education and training of employees and students, as well as the development of interagency cooperation in the fight against corruption.

Vice-rectors, heads of departments, directors of institutes, heads of chairs, teahing staff and members of the anti-corruption commissionof KazNPU, attended the seminar.

Opening the event, the First Vice-Rector Maktagali Bektemesov warmly welcomed Anatoly Banduro and emphasized the importance and special relevance of the training seminar on the international standard ISO 37001: 2016 «Anti-corruption management systems».

At the end of the seminar, students were awarded certificates with the qualification «Manager of the Anti-Corruption Management System».
